A man was arrested Sunday and is accused of cutting another another man’s arm during an altercation in the southeast section of Ark City.
Alfonso Medina, 26, Ark City was arrested and faces a charge of aggravated battery in connection with the incident. He was booked into the Cowley County Jail and had his bond set at $5,000.
Officers were dispatched to the area of D and Quincy for the report of a disturbance when they found a man running in 700 block between C and D, according to a report from police. He had been cut on his arm.
An investigation determined that the injured man and Medina had been involved in a verbal and physical disturbance. Medina was located at his residence and interviewed before being arrested.
