UPDATE: 2:18 p.m. Sunday – Police have issued an update on the investigation into Saturday night’s stabbing. A second person, who is 28, was found to have been injured following an investigation into the fight at the trailer park.
This man had a blunt-force trauma injury to the head and was treated at William Newton Hospital. He was later released.
Police also confirmed a 25-year-old man was injured by a stab to the torso and taken by air ambulance to Wichita. This was the injury originally reported when officers first arrived.

12:04 a.m. Sunday – Police have released a description of a man wanted in connection with a stabbing at a trailer park located in the 500 block of N. Michigan Saturday night.
Early reports from the scene indicated officers were looking for a black male, between 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall and wearing a red or orange shirt, according to Newscow and KSOK radio reporters at the scene.
Police did not release further details about the man because they were receiving conflicting descriptions.
At least one person is in critical condition as a result of the stabbing and was to be transported by helicopter from William Newton Hospital to a Wichita hospital, authorities said.
The air ambulance arrived at the hospital around 12:15 a.m. to pick up the victim. Neighbors reported the incident after hearing sounds of a fight outside a trailer home sometime around 11:15 p.m.
People could be seen outside the home speaking with police. A number of people – including at least one child – were gathered outside but it was unclear who had been at home at the time of the incident.
A black male also was thought to be the suspect in a hit-and-run incident that occurred in Winfield after the stabbing. Police were investigating to see if that suspect had any connection to the stabbing.
