were requested by an out of state child welfare agency to do a welfare check on a child in the 17000 block of 231st Rd.
assisted a stranded traveler with transportation from the 3000 block US 160 to Grenola.
JAN 6
Deputies:
checked an abandoned vehicle in the 26000 block US 77 and in the 24000 block US 166.
were requested to conduct a welfare check on a family in the 26000 block 91st Rd.
transported a prisoner to the county jail for the Ark City Police Department.
were contacted by a county resident concerning a civil matter involving a vehicle that had been sold to a person who then took the vehicle out of state without completing payment for it.
checked two hitchhikers at US 160 and K-360.
received a report of night time spotlighting occurring in the 1500 block of 61s Rd.
were contacted regarding a protective order violation that had occurred in the 24000 block 41st Rd. A juvenile male was subsequently taken into custody for that violation and other related charges.
were dispatched to take a battery report in the 33300 block 61s Rd.
were dispatched to check a disabled motorist in the 7000 block US 160.
