Deputies:

were dispatched to a report of power lines down and across the road in the 6100 block of 302nd Rd.

discovered a loose horse in the ditch in the 6100 block of 302nd Rd.

investigated a minor two car non-injury accident at US 60 and 151st Rd.

transported two prisoners to the county jail for the Ark City Police Department.

were dispatched to a report of sheep on the roadway in the 10000 block of 21st Rd.

were contacted regarding a trespassing issue in the 14000 block of 182nd Rd.

were contacted by an out of county person concerning a dispute regarding an item purchased from a county resident off Craig’s List.

received information regarding the location of a hidden meth lab dump site in southern Cowley County and located and cleaned up the debris.

were contacted by a resident in the 3000 block of 21st Rd regarding inappropriate text messages received from an unknown person.

were dispatched to watch for a possible drunk driver northbound in Kay County on US 77 toward the Kansas state line.

investigated a non-injury car/deer accident .2 miles east of Wheat Rd on K-360 outside Winfield.

checked and assisted a woman walking in the ditch in the 32100 block of 61st Rd.

assisted Burden Police Department officers with a child custody issue.

Following a traffic stop in the 18000 block of US 77, Billy Jack Raimbeau was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
