were dispatched to the 7000 block of Renee Ct, Udall, for a report of a hit and run accident involving a mailbox.
were dispatched to the 11000 block of 282nd Rd for a report of cattle on the roadway.
were dispatched to the 600 block of Locust, Atlanta, for a report of criminal damage to property where a suspect shot out two windows.
took a report of a lost license plate decal from a resident in the 4000 block of Niblick Dr, Winfield.
arrested William Robert Marsh-Vardy Jr, Ark City, on a probation violation warrant in the 22000 block of D Street at Strother Field.
arrested Robert Mark Kidder, Winfield, on two misdemeanor failure to appear warrants. He was also arrested for felony obstruction of legal process and violation of the offender registration act.
were dispatched to the 22000 block of US 77 for a miscellaneous animal report regarding an injured owl.
were dispatched to the 7000 block of US 166 for a report of debris in the roadway.
arrested David Matthew Brakebill, Ark City, on a failure to appear warrant.
were dispatched to the 300 block of College for a report of debris in the roadway.
were dispatched to the 31000 block of 141st Rd for a report of traffic problems in the area.
responded to a report from an off-duty Kansas Highway patrolman who had witnessed a drag race on US 77, south of Winfield, between two vehicles. The vehicles were located and stopped near the south end of Winfield. Kent David Walker was cited for drag racing. The second vehicle was searched after a K-9 gave a positive indication and a bag of marijuana was found hidden in the dash. The second driver, Rickie Lee Drake, Jr, Ark City, was arrested for possession of marijuana, driving on a suspended license and drag racing.
