MAY 28
Deputies:
were dispatched to the area of 22nd and 11th Rd for suspicious activity and theft where subjects were removing property and placing it outside the barn to come back for later. This kind of activity has been occurring in the same area in Sumner County. Possible suspect vehicle is an older model maroon Chrysler.
were dispatched to the Ark City Police Department in regards to a harassment by telephone report being filed by a county resident.
were dispatched to the 9000 block of US 77 for a welfare check on two subjects.
were dispatched to the 30000 block of US 77 near the S Summit Bridge to check on juveniles swimming in the river.
were dispatched to the 17000 block of 271st Rd for a possible electrical fire in the residence.
responded to an alarm in the 22000 block of North D Street at Strother Field.
were dispatched to the 32000 block of 61st Rd for a possible aggravated burglary in progress.

Deputies:
were assisting the Winfield Police Department at the Winfield City Lake with a disturbance. While there, a camper approached them and reported a domestic battery at another campsite. Contact was made with the victim and several witnesses. The suspect was located. A 33-year-old male, Ark City, was arrested.
were dispatched to the Winfield City Lake near the swimming area for a report of a fight in progress.
were dispatched to the 20000 block of 85th Rd for a civil issue regarding property.
were dispatched to the 1400 block of N Fifth to deliver a message for a family member.
were dispatched to the 16000 block of Third St for a civil issue regarding child custody.
were dispatched to the 32000 block of 61st Rd for a miscellaneous animal report involving vicious dogs.
were dispatched to the 2000 block of 22nd Rd for a burglary report.
transported a prisoner for the Ark City Police Department to the Cowley County Jail.
were dispatched to the 800 block of W Skyline for a report of a possible drunk driver. The vehicle was located and subsequent traffic stop made. An Ark City male was arrested and transported to jail.
were dispatched to the 11000 block of 212th Rd for a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area. The driver, an Ark City woman, was arrested for driving under the influence, transporting an open container and no proof of insurance. A passenger was cited for transporting an open container and released at the scene.
were dispatched to the 100 block of Fitzgerald Loop for a citizen’s complaint regarding a civil issue relating to property and possible threats being made.
were dispatched to the 11000 block of 82nd Rd for a welfare check on a female walking in the ditch.

were dispatched to the 13000 block of US 77 for a report of a report of a possible drunk driver.
were dispatched to the 31000 block of 41st Rd for a report of suspicious activity when the resident heard a noise outside the residence.
checked an abandoned vehicle in the 26000 block of 85th Rd near Lion’s Club Park.
were dispatched to the 27000 block of 81st Rd for a report of suspicious activity regarding a subject at a vacant house.
were dispatched to the 15000 block of US 77 for a welfare check on a subject walking near the highway.
were dispatched to the block of Walnut for a report of a disturbance. An Atlanta male was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
were dispatched to the 11000 block of 141st Rd, 25000 block of K-15 and the 12000 block of 211th Rd for reports of possible drunk drivers.

were notified of a subject trying to buy metal in the northwest part of the county. This area has had incidents of thefts in the past couple of weeks.
were dispatched to the 8200 block of 312th Rd for a car/deer accident.
