SEPTEMBER 10
Deputies:
were dispatched to a theft report from the Rural Water District #3 in the 10000 block of 286th Rd.
were dispatched to a neighborhood dispute in the 27000 block of 81st Rd.
assisted with traffic control for a funeral procession going from Winfield to Newkirk.
were dispatched to check US 77 for debris on the roadway spread by a cattle trailer with an open trap door.
were dispatched to the 27000 block of 81st Rd regarding a civil family disagreement.
were dispatched to the 1500 block of 201st Rd for a report regarding the theft of a 4′ x 7′ single axle bed trailer.
were dispatched to check for debris in the roadway in the 20000 block of US 77.
transported two prisoners to the county jail for the Ark City Police Department.
were contacted by an Ark City area resident wanting to discuss an incident that had occurred at his work, but about which he did not want to make an official report.
monitored traffic at Strother Field in response to a complaint regarding mid-afternoon traffic at that location.
were called to the Winfield Police Department to take a criminal damage to property complaint that had occurred in the county.
checked and assisted a pedestrian found walking southbound in the 19000 block of US 77.
were dispatched to check an alarm at the Skyline Corporation.
were dispatched to check a report of a semi-truck sitting in the wrong lane of the highway in the 1000 block of US 160.

Deputies:
arrested Leora M Dye, Dexter, on a failure to appear warrant.
arrested an Ark City resident for driving under the influence in the 500 block of South B, Ark City.
were dispatched to an alarm at the Skyline Corporation.
observed electrical sparking on a utility pole in the 12100 block of US 166. Westar was contacted and responded.
removed a dead deer from the highway in the 26000 block of US 77.
were dispatched to check a power outage and possible explosion in the 6500 block of 306th Rd. Deputies discovered an electric line hanging across another line in the area. Westar was notified and responded.
were dispatched to check a disabled vehicle at US 77 and 242nd Rd.
were dispatched to check a 911 hang-up call at the General Electric plant at Strother Field.
were dispatched to check a report of cattle out in the 15400 block of 171st Rd.
were dispatched to the 9100 block of 132nd Rd for a civil issue involving possession of an automobile.
transported two prisoners to the county jail for the Ark City Police Department.
were contacted by a resident regarding the disposition of property involved in a domestic dispute.
Were dispatched to a one vehicle non-injury accident in the 1900 block of US 160.
assisted the Ark City Police Department by delivering a message for them to the 4000 block of 132nd Rd.
arrested Christopher Montgomery, Winfield, on a drug violation warrant.
assisted Ark City Police officers with a disturbance in the 2500 block of N Summit.
SEPTEMBER 12
Deputies:
were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 10700 block of 284th Rd. A 39-year-old male was subsequently arrested for domestic battery, criminal threat, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct.
discovered a vehicle that appeared to have been involved in a recent accident at another location sitting in the ditch in the 4100 block of 202nd Rd with the driver passed out. The Ark City driver was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence and driving on an expired license. The accident scene was later located in the 1000 block of 202nd Rd.
checked a residence in the 7000 block of 252nd Rd for possible trespassers at the request of the owner.
assisted Ark City officers attempting to locate a suspect in the 1300 block of W Kansas.
were dispatched to the 9100 block of US 166 to check for something that might have fallen from an airplane flying in the area.
were dispatched to E Chestnut between Country Club Rd and 91st Rd for a report of damage to farm field by someone driving through them.
were dispatched to the 13000 block of US 166 to check a report of several teenagers riding in the back of a pickup.
were dispatched to a minor two vehicle non-injury accident in the 6000 block of Linberg Ave.
checked and assisted a hitchhiker in the 4000 block of US 166.
were contact regarding a civil dispute in the 19000 block of 168th Dr.
arrested Josh Schlecht, Ark City, on two Ark City court warrants.
were contacted regarding a possible protective order violation occurring in the 7000 block of 72nd Rd.
were contacted regarding a possible moving disturbance; however, it was discovered to have been a prior incident and there was no current problem.
were dispatched to a hit and run accident involving a parked vehicle in the 7000 block of 72nd Rd.
were dispatched to a disturbance and criminal trespass call in the 18000 block of 72nd Rd.
checked a residence in the 19000 block of 71st Rd at the request of the Ark City Police Department for a suspect involved in a domestic disturbance in Ark City.
were dispatched to a car fire in the 4000 block of 322nd Rd.
