Deputies:

were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in New Salem.

were dispatched to check a reported open door on a house in the 11000 block of 132nd Rd. The house was checked and everything was found to be all right.

were dispatched to the 10000 block of 262nd Rd to document a cow killed by a neighbor’s dog.

were dispatched to a car/deer accident in the 27000 block of 51st Rd.

were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 24000 block of 85th Rd. At the conclusion of that call a female at that location was arrested at the request of the Ark City Police Department on forgery and theft charges that had occurred in Ark City.

were dispatched to New Salem regarding a domestic property dispute.

were dispatched to a residential alarm in the 29000 block of Eastridge Dr.

were dispatched to take a missing person report from a parent in the 31000 block of 53rd Rd. The missing adult child subsequently notified the parent they were all right.

were contacted regarding a complaint about rocks being kicked up by speeding pipeline company trucks on 102nd Rd.

transported a prisoner to the county jail for the Ark City Police Department.

were dispatched to the 12000 block of US 166 for a non-injury car/deer accident.

were dispatched to remove debris from the highway in the 21000 block of US 77.

were dispatched to a report of a truck believed to be knocking down road signs in the 13000 block of 212th Rd.

arrested Elizabeth D Harbert, Ark City, on a probation violation warrant.

were dispatched to a residential alarm in the 10000 block of 242nd Rd.

Deputies:

were dispatched to a report of dogs attacking a goat on River Creek Rd west of Rock.

transported two prisoners to the county jail for the Ark City Police Department.

were contacted concerning a dog problem in the 22000 block of 85th Rd.

were advised of a loose horse that had been caught in the 6000 block of Harding in the IXL area.

checked a helicopter observed landing near the K-360 bypass and US 77. It was determined to be a crew doing electric line maintenance for Westar and were stopping for lunch.

were dispatched to a two vehicle non-injury accident on 61st Rd at 244th Rd.

were dispatched to William Newton Memorial Hospital, Winfield, for a cat bite that had occurred in the county.

and Kansas Highway Patrol Troopers were dispatched to a truck/train accident at the BNSF Railroad crossing on 82nd Rd. The accident was investigated by the Kansas Highway Patrol.

were dispatched to check a pedestrian walking in the 12200 block of US 77 and gave him a ride on into Winfield.

were dispatched to Geuda Springs for a noise complaint.

were dispatched to check for a dog sitting in the highway in the 7000 block of US 166.

The County Engineer’s Office reported seven road signs knocked down in the 13000 to 14000 block of 212th Rd, apparently related to the report previously received by deputies at about 10:15 pm the previous night.

While attempting to serve a civil paper in the 6000 block of 42nd Rd a deputy observed items which ultimately led to the issuance of two search warrants. The deputies discovered a marijuana growing and processing operation.

Deputies:

were dispatched to take the report of a non-injury car/deer accident that had occurred in the 26000 block of US 77.

were dispatched to take a theft report from A to Z Recycling, 1417 W Madison.

were called to the 700 block of Boyer Rd regarding the return of a vehicle that had previously been reported taken by an acquaintance

were dispatched with the Ark City Fire Department to an out of control fire in the 3000 block of E Birch, Parkerfield.

took a theft report in the 7000 block of 242nd Rd. The missing item was subsequently located and returned.

were dispatched to a one car non-injury accident at the intersection of US 77 and 72nd Rd.

were dispatched to check suspicious activity in the 6000 block of 306 Rd.

were dispatched to check possible trespassers in the 8000 block of 332nd Rd.

were dispatched to check a report of gunshots being fired in the 33000 block of 61st Rd.

were dispatched to check a pedestrian walking in the 1000 block of K-15.
