Deputies:

stopped a vehicle in the 600 block of S Sixth, Ark City, that was suspected of being involved in a hit and run accident on the Sumner County side of the county line in Geuda Springs. An Ark City resident was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence.

were dispatched to check a possible drunk driver northbound on US 77 toward Winfield. The vehicle was located and stopped in Winfield and the driver was found not to be intoxicated, but was given a citation for an expired license tag.

were dispatched to check a vehicle reportedly stuck on the BNSF Railroad right of way north of 142nd Rd.

were dispatched to check for a cow out in the 28200 block of First Rd.

were dispatched to an unattended death in Atlanta.

encountered and investigated a two car minor injury accident that had just occurred at the intersection of US 77 and 222nd Rd.

were contacted regarding a report of cattle out in the 28000 block of 162nd Rd.

were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 7000 block of 312nd Rd.

were dispatched to an alarm in the 300 block of W Skyline, Ark City.

responded with Ark City Fire Department to a storm related false fire alarm in the 6000 block of Harding.

Deputies:

were dispatched to a trespass/prowler call in the 4000 block of 212nd Rd. A Winfield resident was eventually located and arrested for criminal trespass.

were dispatched to a one car non-injury accident in the 10000 block of 82nd Rd.

met Derby Police officers at Udall and took custody of Candice Terrill Marshall whom the Derby officers had arrested on a Cowley County failure to appear warrant. Cowley County deputies transported her to the county jail.

arrested Jeffrey Lawrence Marshall, Ark City, on a failure to appear warrant.

were dispatched to a report of a vehicle driving off the road and into a ditch in the 11000 block of 132nd Rd.

were dispatched to a burglary report in the 22000 block of 181st Rd.

were dispatched to check a report of cattle out in the 13000 block of 212th Rd.

responded with Winfield Police officers to check a disabled vehicle at US 77 and 156th Rd just north of the Winfield City limits. It was determined the vehicle had been stolen from Iola, KS, during the night. Investigation determined the vehicle was taken by two juvenile runaways.

were dispatched to check a 911 hang-up in the 17000 block of 211th Rd.

executed a search warrant in the 19000 block of 151st Rd.

were dispatched to a two vehicle non-injury accident at US 77 and 212th Rd.

were dispatched to a one car minor injury accident just south of 282nd Rd on 31st Rd.

were dispatched to a family disturbance in the 9400 block of 85th Ct.

assisted Ark City Police officers with a disturbance call in the 200 block of South D, then transported a person that was arrested to the county jail.

were dispatched to Floral regarding a loose horse creating a neighborhood problem.

were dispatched to attempt to locate a woman who reported being stuck in the mud somewhere in the Akron area. She was ultimately located in the 1000 block of 71st Rd.

were dispatched to check a report of someone driving around on property in the 17000 block of 181st Rd. It was found to be the owner.

checked a disabled semi-truck in the13000 block of 132nd Rd.

transported a prisoner to the county jail for the Ark City Police Department.

checked a report of someone driving a truck on the golf course at the Winfield Country Club.

checked and secured open doors on a maintenance building at the Winfield County Club.
