Deputies:

responded with the Ark City Fire Department to a grass fire sparked by a downed power line in the 29000 block of First Rd.

were advised of suspicious activity in the vicinity of 91st and 272nd Rd.

were checked an apparently disabled vehicle reported near the intersection of 21st Rd and 202nd Rds.

responded to the report of a fire in about the 19000 block of 91st Rd. It was found to be a controlled burn.

were dispatched to the report of a cow out in the 26000 block of 141st Rd.

responded with the Ark City Fire Department and Geuda Springs Fire Department to what was determined to be a bogus fire call on First Street (County Line Rd) in Geuda Springs.

were dispatched to the 33000 block of 61st Rd on a report that a large piece of machinery had snagged and pulled down a power line. It was determined that a passing cotton stripper had hooked a low hanging cable tv line.

assisted Ark City Police officers at a drug search in Ark City.

took a destroyed license tag decal report for an Ark City resident.

assisted a resident in the 4000 block of 272nd Rd check the property for trespassers.

responded to another bogus fire call in Geuda Springs.

transported a prisoner to the county jail for the Ark City Police Department.

were contacted by an IXL resident regarding a civil property issue.

were dispatched to a harassment by phone complaint in the 6000 block of Beverly Dr.

arrested Sarah Graham, Burden, on a worthless check warrant.

assisted Winfield Police officers with an injury accident at College and Alison.

were dispatched to a report of cattle out in the 26000 block of US 166.

were dispatched to an illegal dumping complaint in the 4000 block of 232nd Rd.

assisted Ark City Police officers search for stolen property in the 700 block of W Skyline Rd.

were dispatched to a report of cattle out in the 28000 block of US 166.

were dispatched to a report of trespassers on property in the 32000 Rd of 141st Rd.

responded with several area fire departments to a large grass fire at the US 160 ? K-15 Junction (Bolack Corner) and blocked K-15 for a period of time due to heavy smoke across the highway.

were dispatched to the Cowley 8 Cinema on a report of employee purses having been stolen.

were dispatched to an unattended death in the 14000 block of 231st Rd.

were contacted by a resident from Bismark, ND, wanting an Ark City resident arrested for kidnapping. Further investigation with the assistance of the Bismark Police Department determined this was a civil child custody issue and there was no criminal violation involved.

responded with the Atlanta Fire Department to a grass fire involving hay bales in the 21000 block of 161st Rd.

responded with the Udall Police officers to a disturbance in the 300 block of S Williams, Udall.

were dispatched to check suspicious activity in the 7600 block of 252nd Rd.

were dispatched to a theft report in the 32000 block of 61st Rd.

were dispatched to a car/coyote accident in the 8000 block of 151st Rd.

were dispatched to a one car injury roll over accident in the 11000 block of 152nd Rd.

transported a prisoner to the county jail for the Ark City Police Department.

were dispatched to check for a reckless driver in the 32000 block of US 77.

and Winfield Police officers were dispatched to check suspicious activity on the highway in the 3900 block of E Ninth, Winfield.

were dispatched to take a report of a runaway juvenile east of Udall. The juvenile was located.

assisted Winfield Police officers with a serious injury accident at the intersection of US 160 and K-360.

were dispatched to a report of cattle out in the 11000 block of 212th Rd.

were dispatched to a car/deer accident in the 8000 block of 75th Rd and the 12000 block of 21st Rd.

located and removed debris from the roadway in the 23000 block of K-15.

were dispatched to check a building for possible intruders in the 13000 block of US 160.

Following a stop for a traffic violation in the 32200 block of 11th Rd. A Wichita resident was arrested for driving under the influence.
