Deputies:
were notified of an alleged criminal threat that had occurred between two individuals at Strother Field; however, the purported victim did not want to make an official report.
provided funeral escort from Miles Funeral Home to Mt Vernon Cemetery.
took a report from an Ark City resident of the loss of a license tag decal.
took a report from a rural Udall resident regarding the theft and unauthorized use of a debit card.
were dispatched to car/deer accidents in the 9000 block and the 13000 block of US 77.
stopped a car with a headlight out in the 12000 block of US 77 and discovered it had just been involved in an accident with a deer in the 1000 block of 132nd Rd.
transported a prisoner to the county jail for the Ark City Police Department.
were dispatched to check a suspicious vehicle in Hackney. The vehicle was located by a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper just north of 212th Rd on US 77 and the driver was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence.
were dispatched to check a vehicle alarm in Udall.
The Ark City dispatch reported a pickup sitting in a traffic lane at F and Poplar in Ark City. A deputy was close, checked the truck, located the owner and got the truck moved out of traffic.
The K-9 deputy and his K-9 were requested to do a ‘sniff’ on a vehicle stopped by a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper in the 21000 block of US 77.
While serving civil papers in Ark City, a deputy discovered possible criminal damage to an unoccupied residence. The damage was documented and coordinated with the Ark City Police Department.
