Cowley County Sheriff’s Report for January 24, 2011

Deputies were dispatched to a miscellaneous animal call in the 32000 block of 57th Dr. concerning the welfare of some animals.

Deputies took a report at the Sheriff’s office in regards to a lost license plate decal in the 1000 block South Centennial.

Deputies were dispatched to the 2000 block of 31st Rd. for a criminal damage report in regards to a mailbox.

Deputies were dispatched to the 30000 block of 21st Rd. in regards to a structure fire.

Deputies were notified of of possible suspicious activity east of Ark City involving a suspicious vehicle and activity.

Deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of West Kansas for a miscellaneous report regarding a juvenile and an incident which may have occurred out in the county.

Deputies were dispatched to the 31000 block of 53rd Rd. for an agency assist with the Wichita Police Department in regards to some stolen credit cards. Contact was made with the victim and information forwarded to the Wichita Police Department.

Deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of South Blankenship to assist the Udall Police Department in regards to a disturbance.

Deputies were dispatched to the 12000 block of 32nd Rd. in regards to a horse being out and at large.

Deputies transported two prisoners to the Cowley County jail for the Ark City Police Department.

Deputies arrested Misty Stone, Winfield, on a warrant from Cowley County District Court setting in Winfield for misdemeanor check. The subject was booked into the Cowley County jail.

Deputies stopped and checked on a motorist in the 6000 block of K – 15. The driver had just been involved in a car/deer accident.
