Jan 27
Deputies assisted an out of gas motorist in the 18200 block of US 77.
Deputies were dispatched to check the welfare of an individual in the 6000 block of Beverly Drive.
Deputies took a report from a Dexter resident regarding the persistent receipt of apparent fraudulent solicitations for money.
Deputies were requested by the Ark City Police Department to assist in looking for a vehicle reportedly involved in a hit-and-run accident earlier that morning at the Ark City Clinic.
Deputies found and returned the wallet located in the 1400 block of East Ninth, Winfield.
Deputies checked an abandoned vehicle in the 10100 block of US 166.
Deputies responded with the Winfield Fire Department to a fire call in the 16300 block of 172nd Rd.
Deputies transported three prisoners to the county jail for the Ark City Police Department.
Deputies took a car/deer accident report that had occurred that morning in the 21200 block of 31st Rd.
Deputies were notified of a small gray dog with no collar that had been found in the area of 61st Rd. and 322nd Rd.
Deputies transported Felicia Simon, Wichita, from the Sumner County Jail to the Cowley County Jail on a Cowley County probation violation warrant.
Deputies were dispatched to a car/dear accident in the 2000 block of US 77.
Deputies were dispatched to a car/deer accident in the 22000 block of US 166. Only minor damage was found and no report was required.
Deputies were dispatched to the 17000 block of 291st Rd. for an out of control juvenile foster child.
Deputies were dispatched to a burglary report in the 4000 block of 261st Rd.
Deputies arrested Steven Cannon, Jr, Ark City, on a failure to appear warrant.
Deputies were dispatched to the 6000 block of Beverly Drive for a civil dispute.

Deputies were called to the county jail to assist in moving an inmate and investigate a broken window.
Deputies transported a prisoner to the county jail for the Ark City Police Department.
Deputies were dispatched to check the report of a vehicle in the ditch in the 19000 block of US 77. A rural Winfield resident was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence and booked into the county jail rural.
Deputies were dispatched to check a barking dog complaint in the 31600 block of 53rd Rd.
