FEB 10

Deputies transported a prisoner to the Cowley County jail for the Ark City Police Department.

Deputies were dispatched to check a car in the ditch at US 166 and 292nd Rd.

Deputies were dispatched to check for a pedestrian walking in the 21000 block of US 77.

Deputies checked an abandoned car on the side of the Highway in the 10000 block of US 166.

Deputies responded with Emergency Medical Services to a medical alarm at Strother Field.

Deputies were dispatched to check for a tub in the roadway in the 6000 block of 252nd Rd.

Deputies checked an abandoned vehicle with its flashers on in the 24000 block of US 77.

Deputies transported a prisoner from the Ark City Police Department to the Sumner County line where a Sumner County deputies took custody of the prisoner on Sumner County charges.

Deputies were dispatched to check the welfare of dogs in the 30000 block of 91st Rd.

Deputies were dispatched to a minor car/truck non-injury accident at US 77 and North Summit.

Deputies were dispatched to the 400 block of K – 15 in Dexter to check for possible damage to a door of a business. The damage was determined to be weather related and was not criminal in nature.

Deputies were dispatched to a reported domestic assault occurring on US 77 between Winfield and Strother Field. The incident could not be found.

Deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 21000 block of 85th Rd. A male was arrested for criminal threat and obstructing legal process.

FEB 11

Deputies discovered and checked an open door at the Winfield Country Club.

Deputies checked the status of animals at a residence in the 30000 block of 91st Rd.

Deputies were dispatched to check a hitchhiker in the 8100 block of US 166.

Deputies checked a disabled motorist in the 13100 block of US 160.

Deputies were dispatched to check for a dead animal in the roadway in the 3000 block of US 166 areas

Deputies arrested Sandee Jean Dobbs, Winfield, on a failure to appear warrant.

Deputies arrested Rhonda Eggleston, Iris Atkinson, Kelsey Johnson, Christi Sherman, all of Ark City, Michelle Hinkley, Winfield, Molly Jackson, Dexter, on failure to appear warrants.

Deputies transported a prisoner to Kelly County jail for the Ark City Police Department.

Deputies discovered a vehicle that had struck and damaged a pasture fence in the 20200 block of 151st Rd. However, the driver had left the scene and could not be located.

FEB 12

Deputies arrested Vincent Lowden and Casey Bruton, both of Ark City, on failure to appear warrants.

Deputies assisted Ark City Police officers with citizen transport.

Deputies checked a disabled vehicle in the 24800 block of US 77. The driver was given a ride to his house in Ark City.

Deputies transported two prisoners to the Cowley County jail for the Ark City Police Department.

Deputies were dispatched to check and dispose of an injured deer in the 6000 block of 151st Rd.

Deputies checked the status of animals in the 30000 block of 91st Rd.

Deputies conducted a funeral escort from Miles Funeral Service to Highland Cemetery.

Deputies assisted Ark City Police officers with traffic control at an accident scene in the city.

Deputies were dispatched to check for pedestrian walking on the roadway in the dark in the 32000 block of 61st Rd.

Deputies were dispatched to check for an excessively slow moving vehicle southbound from K-15 on US 77.

Deputies were dispatched to Cambridge to check for a suspicious person standing at the edge of the highway.

Deputies were dispatched to check for a vehicle with no operable taillights traveling northbound on US 77 from the state line toward Ark City.

Deputies discovered and checked an unlocked door on a business in the 7000 block of US 160.

Following the stop for a traffic signal violation in the 1400 block of South Main, Winfield, deputies arrested an Ark City man for driving under the influence.

FEB 13

Deputies checked a vehicle that had slid off the roadway after hitting a patch of slick snow at 61st and US 160. There was no damage to the vehicle and the driver was given a ride home leaving the vehicle to be removed during the daylight

Deputies checked a stranded motorist in the 4000 block of K-15.

Deputies were dispatched to a damage to property report in the 8000 block of 86th Rd.

Deputies were dispatched to check a report of cattle out at the intersection of 131st and 122nd Rd.

Deputies were dispatched to take an identity theft report in the 4000 block of 261st Rd.

Deputies were dispatched to Burden for a criminal damage to property report.

Deputies were dispatched to the 9000 block of 146th Rd. for a complaint of a vehicle blocking a driveway.

Deputies were dispatched to an area east of Ark City to watch for a vehicle whose occupants were suspected of using illegal drugs.

Deputies arrested Joshua Roberts, Winfield, on an Ark City Municipal Court warrant.

Deputies were dispatched to the 8000 block of 322nd Rd. regarding a child custody dispute.

Deputies and Sumner County deputies were dispatched to Geuda Springs on a 911 call of a shooting that had occurred at an address on the county line. It was determined to be a prank call from an unknown caller. Since the reported address was in Sumner County, this Sumner County deputies assumed the investigation into the prank call.

Deputies stopped a car for a headlight violation in the 2800 block of Main, Winfield. The woman driver was subsequently arrested for driving with a suspended license and no proof of insurance. The male passenger was arrested on an Ark City Municipal Ct. warrant for failure to appear and for transporting an open container.

Deputies arrested Montréal Williams, Winfield, on a failure to appear warrant.
