Cowley County Sheriff Report for February 22, 2011

Sheriff’s deputies took a walk-in report from a subject in reference to a burglary and theft which had occurred in the 10000 block of 91st Rd.

Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 400 block of West First in Udall for a missing person report involving an adult. The subject was found in Winfield.

Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 4000 block of East Ninth for a funeral escort.

Sheriff’s deputies were advised of a road closure where a culvert is being replaced at 170 1st Rd. south of 112th road. The road will be closed until the end of the week.

Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 9000 block of 85th Ct for a welfare check.

Sheriff’s deputies were called about a disturbance involving physical contact and a civil dispute over property that had occurred earlier in the day in the 1400 block of 11th Ave. in Winfield. Winfield Police Department was notified of the call.

Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to two different car/deer accidents involving two different vehicles and two different deer in the 19000 block of US 77.

Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 22000 block of North D at Strother Field for a suspicious person in the area of one of the businesses.

Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 27000 block of 81st Rd. for a possible prowler. The Kansas Highway Patrol assisted in checking the area.

Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 9000 block of 85th Court for a suspicious subject in the area.

Sheriff’s deputies checked an abandoned vehicle in the 19000 block of US 77.

Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 31000 block of 53rd on a loud noise complaint.
