Fred "Oron" Heater, formerly of Belle Plaine, Kan., passed away Thursday, February 24, 2011, at the Kansas Veterans Home in Winfield at the age of 91.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, February 27, 2011 with the family present from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
A celebration of Oron’s life will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 28, 2011 at the First Presbyterian Church, 528 North Merchant, Belle Plaine, Kansas.
A private interment will follow at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his loving memory with the American Legion Post 211, P.O. Box 62, Belle Plaine, Kansas 67013. Contributions can be mailed or left with the funeral home.
