George Allen Smith of Winfield, Kan., passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011, surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Miles Funeral Service. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. The family will greet visitors from 5 to 7 that evening. Per George’s wishes, following services at Miles Funeral Home; he will be cremated and burial will take place in Salina at a later date.
A memorial has been established in George’s name for Hospice Care of Kansas. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
