Cowley College is interested in community thoughts, visions and ideas about the school and they’re offering an enticement for those who offer up their opinions – free pie.
The college will host a Pie Forum at 6 p.m. April 6 at the Earle N. Wright Community Room on the college’s campus in Ark City. Pie and refreshments will be provided and the event is free to the public.
The college’s accrediting agencies encourage institutions to seek direct feedback from the community, so the school is using the forum to collect input.
“We thought some of the best communication comes when people come to share food and drink, so a Pie Forum seemed to suggest a welcoming theme to encourage participation,” Cowley College president Dr. Patrick J. McAtee said.
