Candidates for city commission positions in Ark City and Winfield will participate in an on-air radio forum tonight hosted by KSOK Radio and NewsCow.net.
Listeners can remain in the comfort of their homes and hear from all the candidates in the city races from both towns. The forum begins at 7 p.m. and will be available on 95.9 FM and online here.
We’ll also have accompanying coverage here at NewsCow.net.
Candidates for Winfield City Commission are: Mike Ledy, Greg Thompson, Webster Roth, Merrill Gordon and incumbent Tom McNeish. All have said they will attend the forum.
Candidates for Ark City Commission are: Joel Hockenbury, incumbent Jean Snell, incumbent Dotty Smith, Chad Giles, Ronald Hirst and Charles M. Tweedy III. All candidates have indicated they will attend the forum.
Also, four candidates for school board in Winfield will attend. Jamie Kaiser, Blaine Kohpay, Mike Rozell and Lynn Herlocker have accepted our invitation to participate.
Four others in that race will not attend and no candidates for school board in Ark City responded to our invite.
