One person was injured and a Dell laptop was stolen following a late night incident at Southwestern College Tuesday.
Tyler McAhren told police he was injured around 2:15 a.m. when he confronted a subject that was trying to break into the Dole Center for Teacher Education on the SC campus.
McAhren said he was thrown partially through a window by the person he confronted. He received severe lacerations to one of his arms, according to a report on the incident.
College officials said a window on the building was shattered and a laptop, belonging to an adjunct instructor, was missing.
The suspect is said to have taken the laptop and fled the scene, police said.
