An 81-year-old Ark City man was arrested over the weekend in connection with an ongoing sex crime investigation, police said.
Robert E. Davis is facing charges that include aggravated indecent liberties with a child and criminal threat. The alleged victim in the case is a 14-year-old girl from Ark City.
Davis was booked into the Cowley County Jail on Saturday according to jail records. His bond was set at $10,500 and he was released around 8 p.m. the same day he was arrested.
Ark City police chief Sean Wallace said his department would not be releasing further details of the investigation at this time.
