Winfield police are looking for tips that will lead them to the person or people responsible for a break in at a local pawn shop.
Sometime last Thursday, in the early morning hours, the glass entry door at KC’s Pawn Shop, 118 E. Seventh, was busted. Once inside, a person or people removed 10 firearms from the business and left.
The pawn shop is owned by local businessman Kevin Coon.
Winfield police are investigating and have designated the incident as the Crime Stoppers Crime of the Month for April.
