Russell S. "Steve" Jay, 69, of Arkansas City, Kan., died on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at his residence.
The Rosary was recited Thursday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at the church. Father Charles Seiwert will celebrate. There will be no viewing.
Memorials can be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church stained glass restoration fund. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
Arrangements are being made by Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home in Arkansas City.
