Mildred Eva (Holverson) Downs, 86, of Winfield, formerly of Cedar Vale, died Monday, May 9, 2011, at the Kansas Veteran’s Home in Winfield.
Funeral services were scheduled for today at the First Baptist Church in Cedar Vale. Interment will follow in the Cedar Vale Cemetery. Pastor Norman Reeves will officiate.
A memorial has been established with the Kansas Veteran’s Home. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
