Lavola G. Thompson, age 87, passed away early Tuesday morning, June 7, 2011, at her home in Wellington, Kan.
Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church on Friday at 11 a.m. Reverend Tom Thompson and Pastor Blake Orr will officiate. Interment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 1 to 8 p.m. The family will be present to greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m.
A memorial has been established with the First Baptist Church in lieu of flowers. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
