A group from Dexter Outreach will travel to Joplin next week to help in the aftermath of last month’s deadly tornado.
Pastors Jay and Gina Anderson will lead the effort and will accept donations to take with them to the people they assist. The group is requesting new underwear, socks or leather work gloves and is not accepting used items at this time.
You may drop your items at Dr. Alan Marcotte’s office at 810 Main in Winfield. His hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
