Arlene L. Thurman (Lawrenz), 84, of Arkansas City passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, June 26, 2011, at the South Central Kansas Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at the Redeemer Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at Parker Cemetery. Pastor Mark Boxman will officiate. Friends may greet the family 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at the funeral home.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers that contributions be made in her name to the Redeemer Lutheran Church or South Central Kansas Regional Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary.
