Winfield Police Reports for July 2 – 3, 2011
JULY 2
Kyle Russell, Derby, was a victim of theft at the Winfield City Lake.
Ericka Groom and Debra Mildfelt, both of Winfield, were the victims of criminal damage to property in the 100 block of East 17th. Kevin Topper, Winfield, was arrested for criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct.
A juvenile male and female, both of Winfield, were involved in a non-injury accident in the 400 block of East 12th. The male was cited for allowing an unauthorized driver, and the female was cited for driving without a license.
Phyllis McLafin, Milan, and Monica Joyce, Darien, IL, were involved in a non-injury accident in the 1200 block of Wheat Road. Joyce was cited for failing to yield at a stop sign.
James Hicks, Winfield, was cited for driving with a suspended license in the 1900 block of Main.
Doug Hudson, Winfield, was cited for having an expired tag in the 1900 block of Central.
JULY 3
Officers responded to an alarm in the 900 block of Main.
A juvenile male and female, both of Winfield, were the victims of aggravated assault in the 1400 block of John. Tanner Lafferty, Winfield, was arrested in connection.
Michelle Winters, Winfield, was arrested on an outside warrant in the 1000 block of Main.
Achraf El Bahi, Winfield, was the victim of burglary and theft in the 300 block of West 16th.
Naomi Ortiz, Ark City, was arrested/cited for driving on a suspended license in the 1900 block of Wheat Road.
Michael Gerard, Winfield, was cited Friday for speeding in the 700 block of North College.
Silvey Retana, Wichita, was cited for speeding in the 900 block of Main
