JULY 1

Nicholas Luttrell, Wellington, was cited for speeding.

Brandon Milton, Wellington, was cited for speeding and no proof of insurance.

JULY 2

Jo Anne Dillard, Wellington, and Martin Foster, Belle Plaine, were involved in an injury accident at 16th and Woodlawn. Dillard was cited for failure to yield right-of-way.

Suspicious activity was reported in the 900 block of East Mill.

A Wellington resident was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a suspended license, transporting an open container and refusal to submit to a breath test in the 100 block of East 15th.

Josie Bitting, Udall, was arrested for driving under the influence, a suspended license transporting an open container and refusal to submit to a breath test.

A theft was investigated in the 1100 block of South Jefferson.

Patricia Boor, Wellington, was cited for no tag light and no proof of insurance.

JULY 3

Alanzo Machado, Wellington, was arrested for driving under the influence, disorderly conduct and minor in possession of alcohol.

Thefts were reported in the 800 block of East Lincoln And the 500 block of North Elm.

Jason Farley, Wellington, was arrested for aggravated battery and domestic violence in the 1300 block of North A.

Taylor Smith, Wellington, was cited for no tag light and no proof of insurance.

JULY 4

Bret Shore, Wellington, and Evette Frost, Katy, TX, were involved in a non-injury accident in the 100 block of West 15th.

A vicious animal report was taken in the 400 block of East Walnut.

Francis Mashburn, Wellington, and Kayla Sears, Belle Plaine, were involved in a non-injury accident in the 400 block of South Jefferson. Mashburn was cited for inattentive driving.

Officers investigated fires caused by fireworks in the 200 block of South Cherry, 100 block of South Woodlawn and the 400 block of South Olive.

Officers investigated a report of a child in need of care in the 800 block of South Washington.

Charles Kitch, Wellington, was cited for defective headlight and defective brake lights.
