Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding out who is responsible for $30,000 in damage done to a pick-up truck in Ark City.
Around 3 a.m. on June 13, an unknown person or people broke into a storage shed at the Space Center Storage units north of Ark City on 61st Rd. They stole a red, customized, 1996 Chevy dually pick up.
The truck was recovered a short distance down the road from the storage units, but it was heavily damaged.
Investigators with the Cowley County Sheriff’s Office are asking the public for help in finding those responsible. The incident is the Cowley County Crime Stoppers crime of the Month for July.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for this crime.
