Magdalina “Maria” Contreras, 61, of Arkansas City, Kan., passed away Saturday, July 16, 2011, at her home under the care of her family and hospice in Arkansas City.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Hawks-Shelley Funeral Home in Arkansas City. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hawks-Shelley Funeral Home & Crematory of Arkansas City with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
Contributions can be left with the American Cancer Society or the Hospice Care of Kansas.
