Wellington Police Reports for July 29 – 31, 2011
JULY 29
A burglary occurred in the 200 block of North Poplar.
A bicycle was taken in the 300 block of East 10th. It was returned to owner.
A bicycle was found in the 2000 block of East 16th.
A battery occurred in the 700 block of North Blaine.
Michael Drouhard, Wellington, was the owner of a mailbox that was damaged by a hit and run in the 1800 block of West Edgewood Drive.
JULY 30
Michael Viramontes, Wellington, was the driver of a vehicle that struck a parked and unoccupied vehicle owned by Doris Goans in the 1000 block of South Washington.
The criminal use of a financial card and theft was reported in the 400 block of South Olive.
The theft of liquor was reported in the 1200 block of East 16th.
JULY 31
A criminal damage to property report was taken in the 800 block of South Jefferson.
Shaun McKellip, Wellington, was arrested for probation violation, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to register as an offender in the 800 block of South H.
Thefts occurred in the 1300 block of North Cherry and the 1500 block of North Park.
A battery was reported in the 900 block of North Plum.
The theft of a bicycle and tools were reported in the 300 block of South Ash.
