Cowley County Sheriff’s Report for August 30, 2011
The theft of diesel fuel and batteries from a service truck was reported in the 21000 block of 202nd Rd.
An illegal dumping complaint was received in the 23200 block of 95th Rd.
Deputies checked for a possible drunk driver northbound on US 160 from the Bolack Corner.
A possible attempted burglary to a storage building occurred in Wilmot.
A cow was out on the road in the 28000 block of 141st Rd.
Deputies and Winfield Police officers check the area on a report of shooting occurring somewhere in the vicinity of the sports complex at K-360 and Broadway. Nothing was found.
Christopher Hill was arrested on a warrant for escape from custody upon turning himself in at the county jail.
