Terry and Melody’s Daylight Donuts, on Main in Winfield, is not closing.
Despite what you read from some knucklehead on our Friday Live Blog, or what you have heard elsewhere, the business is doing just fine, Melody Krueger said in an e-mail to NewsCow. The couple even placed a sign up on the front of their business informing the public they are not retiring.
They’re not sure how the rumor was first started but guess that some people might have confused them with the Wonder Hostess store, which has closed.
So, for our role in the confusion, NewsCow apologizes.
Also, I really like their cinnamon rolls, so they can’t close. I won’t allow it. 🙂
Cue the fat jokes at my expense in 3… 2…. 1….
