Pastor James Watson, Jr., 84, of Arkansas City, Kan., passed away Sunday, December 25, 2011, in the comfort of his home surrounded by loving family.
The wake will be held on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at St. James COGIC, 611 N. 6th Street in Arkansas City. Services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 2448 Edgemont Drive in Arkansas City.
Burial will be held at the Newkirk City Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the St. James Church Of God In Christ Scholarship Fund. Contributions may be made through the funeral home or the St. James Church of God in Christ. Arrangements are under the direction of the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home.
