Gilbert M. Cottle, of Wellington, Kan., died Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at the Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita at the age of 96.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
Memorial services for Gilbert will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the South Haven United Methodist Church, 314 North Main in South Haven. Interment will follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, northwest of South Haven.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to South Haven United Methodist Church, 314 North Main, South Haven, Kan., 67140, or the J.H. Walcher Educational Endowment, 525 East 33rd Street South, Wellington, Kan., 67152. Contributions can be mailed or left with the funeral home.
