Police in Ark City are looking for help from the public in identifying a person or people responsible for damaging several vehicles, using large rocks, earlier this month.
Sometime after 11 p.m. Feb. 4, and before 10 a.m. Feb. 6, several large rocks were used to pummel vehicles parked within the city limits. The vehicles were parked in the 1100 block of N. Seventh, 1000 block of North C, 200 block of E. Pine, 400 block of E. Poplar, 700 block of W. Chestnut and 600 block of South C.
Damage ranged from broken windshields and broken side windows to dents and scratched paint on door panels and hatchbacks.
Investigators estimate damage at $6,000.
Police officials said that help in identifying a suspect or suspects would be of great help.
