David W. Lowe, 54, Winfield, was the man killed in the farm-equipment accident earlier this evening, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
Lowe was driving a Massey Ferguson 202 tractor and clearing brush when the accident occurred. He left the tractor for an unknown reason and was run over by one of the rear tires.
Miles Funeral home of Winfield is in charge of the arrangements.

A person was killed Friday evening after being pinned by a tractor in rural Cowley County south of Winfield, according to reports from the scene.
The incident occurred on property at 19604 81st Rd. Emergency personnel were called to the scene around 7 p.m. NewsCow will provided more information as it available.
Initial reports indicate a man was unresponsive at the scene and pinned by the tractor. The man was found in a small field just of U.S. 77 highway on 81st.
