MARCH 30

A stolen tag was reported in the 7000 block of 252nd Rd.

An Ark City resident contacted deputies regarding property taken and not returned by an acquaintance in another jurisdiction.

A young female was reported walking around knocking on doors in the 27000 block of 85th Rd.

A prisoner was transported to the Cowley County jail for the Ark City Police Department.

A reckless driver was reported in the area of 11000 block of 142nd Rd.

Debris was in the road in the 21000 block of US 77.

Gunshots were reported in the 2000 block of 82nd Rd.

MARCH 31

Ark City Police officers were assisted by deputies with a fight call in the 600 block of West Madison.

Deputies were called to the Cowley County jail to assist staff with an unruly inmate.

A horse was reported running loose in the area of the 6000 block of 322nd Rd.

A member of the Ark City Country Club was reported to have been accidentally run over by a golf cart.

A prisoner was transported to the Cowley County jail for the Ark City Police Department.

Deputies were dispatched to an Ark City residence for a report regarding a prior disturbance between juveniles at the West Chestnut Bridge.

Cody James Anderson, Winfield, was arrested for driving with a suspended license in the 10000 block of 141st Rd.

A vehicle was found parked on private property adjacent to the Wallet River in the 8000 block of 42nd Rd. It was found to be a relative of the landowner who was approved by the owner to be there.

A vehicle had driven through a field of wheat in the 11000 block of 252nd Rd. Five juveniles were located and were released to their parents.

Damage to a mailbox was reported in the 13000 block of 132nd Rd.

A trespassing complaint was received in the 4000 block of 272nd Rd.

Possible gunshots were reported in the Dexter area.

A complaint of someone writing a loud ATV was received in the 33000 block of 77th Rd.

APRIL 1

A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 8000 block of 42nd Rd.

A check was made of two people riding ATV’s on private property south of Chestnut on the west bank of the Arkansas River.

Deputies stopped a vehicle for failing to maintain a single Lane of traffic in the 31000 block of US 77. The driver, Dwight Eric Lee, Wichita, had been drinking. He was arrested for driving under the influence.

Deputies assisted Ark City Police officers at the scene of a disturbance in the 1500 block of North Seventh. They didn’t followed an Ark City officer to the Cowley County jail with a combative prisoner arrested at the scene of that disturbance.

A prisoner was transported to the Cowley County jail for the Ark City Police Department.

Motorcycles were reported racing in Grouse Creek Road southwest of Dexter.

A minor car/motorcycle accident occurred in the 8000 block of 312 road.

A young female was reported knocking on doors asking for a ride in the 1800 block of West Madison.

Someone broke into a vacant house in the 10000 block of 322nd Rd. Nothing was reported taken.

Winfield Police officers and deputies were dispatched to the 400 block of Main on a report of a foster care worker being assaulted by a juvenile in foster care.

A cow was out in the 12000 block of US 160.

The welfare of dogs was checked at a residence in the 31200 block of US 77.

A cow was out in the 1000 block of 151st Rd.
