APRIL 2

Deputies checked a pickup and trailer setting at the intersection of US 77 and K-15.

A resident in the 9000 block of 85th Court reported an Internet scam directed toward that resident.

A funeral procession was escorted from Miles Funeral Service to the Dexter Cemetery.

A missing license tag decal was reported from a rural Winfield resident.

Two prisoners were transported to the Cowley County jail for the Ark City Police Department.

The condition of dogs was checked at a residence in the 31000 block of US 77.

Deputies were dispatched to the Winfield hospital for a report regarding a juvenile who had been accidentally hit in the eye with a BB.

A possible anhydrous leak was reported in Atlanta. Prior to deputies arrival, Atlanta Fire and Valley Co.-Op personnel had located and secured the leak.

Damage accidentally cause to a drilling rig was reported in the 16000 block of 201st Rd. No employees were injured.

A vehicle found setting alongside the road was checked in the 3000 block of K-15.

APRIL 3

A motorist parked on the side of the road was checked in the 15000 block of US 77.

Deputies were dispatched to check an individual reported walking through a yard in the 18000 block of 91st Rd. The intoxicated Walker was ultimately found by Winfield Police officers walking on Lakeshore Drive. After being checked and cleared he was given a ride home by deputies to the 21000 block of 85th Rd.

A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 400 block of Hornaday in Rock.

A goat was on the road in the 10000 block of 21st Rd.

A civil matter regarding a vehicle was checked in the 31000 block of 61st Rd.

A reckless driver was reported in the area of US 77 north of Winfield.

Deputies were dispatched to Main Street in Atlanta for traffic problems regarding speed.

An animal welfare check was done in the 2000 block of 292nd Rd.

A theft report regarding the unauthorized use of a debit card was received in the 16000 block of 52nd Rd.

An old safe was found in the 13000 block of 171st Rd.

Debris was reported on the road in the 1000 block of 202nd Rd.

A pedestrian was reported in the road in the 17000 block of 121st Rd.

An animal welfare check was done in the 2000 block of East Vine.

Deputies were dispatched to US 77 south of Ark City and also to 296th Rd. and 121st Rd. for two out of control fires. Both were found to be controlled burns.

Deputies were dispatched to the 1000 block of North Sixth for an agency assist regarding a runaway. Deputies found the runaway in the 3000 block of 262nd Rd.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 21000 block of 85th Rd.

APRIL 4

A possible prowler was reported in the 33000 block of 51st Rd.

A license tag decal was reported lost from a Winfield resident.

A miscellaneous dog complaint was received in the 6000 block of Fitzgerald Loop.

The welfare of an individual was checked in the 33000 block of 61st Rd.

A reckless driver was reported southbound on US 77 from the 12000 block of US 77.

Sarah Ann Xayarath, Winfield, was arrested on a worthless check warrant.

Deputies checked a vehicle that had reportedly been abandoned in Dexter for over a week.

A prisoner was transported to the Cowley County jail for the Ark City Police Department.
