Douglas R. Weaver, 54, of Arkansas City, Kan., formerly of Winfield, passed away after a long illness Sunday, May 13, 2012, at the Galichia Hospital of Wichita.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church of Arkansas City. Burial will be in the Parker Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
A memorial has been established with the William Newton Health Care Foundation. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
