OK, so state Rep. Kasha Kelley, R-Ark City, will not have opposition in her bid for reelection after all.
On Monday, we told you Kelley would face Democrat Barbara Lynn Wells in the November general election. Even then, though, there was confusion because Wells was listed as a candidate in the 80th House Dist. even though she is from Derby.
The 80th, in which Kelley is the incumbent, is confined to Cowley and Sumner counties.
By late Tuesday, the confusion had been cleared up and Wells was listed appropriately as a candidate in the 81st Dist.
That means Kelley will not face a challenger.
