Cowley County Sheriff’s Report for June 21, 2012
Four prisoners were transported to the Cowley County jail for the Ark City
Police Department.
Someone shooting from a vehicle was reported in the 8000 block of 312th Rd.
A dog bite was reported in the 3000 block of East Birch, Parkerfield.
A report of an elderly male driver drifting across the road, north of Winfield on US 77 was checked. The vehicle was located and observed for some distance, but no driving problems were noted.
A go cart being written on the road was reported in the 33000 block of Tower Road.
A residential alarm was checked in the 4000 block of US 166.
An illegal dumping complaint was received in the 26000 block of 31st Rd.
Goats were out in the 4500 block of 252nd Rd.
A horse was out in the 1500 block of 252nd Rd.
A tree limb in the road was reported in the 26000 block of 61st Rd.
Deputies were dispatched to Burden to assist a Community Corrections Officer in arresting Aaron Wayne Willard on a probation arrest and detain order.
