Single vehicle motorcycle accident reported at K15 and US 166 West. A blue 2017, Harley Davidson, driven by 69 year old Darrel Halbrooks of Richmond, Kentucky, was traveling eastbound in the 25000 block of US 166 and swerved to miss a deer. Halbrooks attempted to stop and was thrown from the motorcycle. Halbrooks was transported to South Central Kansas Regional Medical Center for injuries.
Resident in the 29000 block of 41st Road reported that they wanted a Cowley County Sheriff’s Deputy to speak to her neighbor about their dogs getting into their trash cans.
