A Winfield man was seriously injured Sunday evening in a motorcycle accident that occurred east of Ark City.
38 year-old Shannon Stowell, was traveling southbound in the 12000 block of 292nd Rd. when he went off of the roadway into a ditch. He was thrown from the cycle.
Stowell was transported by EMS to South Central Medical Center in Ark City and later airlifted to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
He was listed in serious condition this morning, according to a Wesley spokesperson.
Stowell was said to have suffered multiple injuries. The accident occurred around 6:50 p.m.
