Tucker James Shannon, 7 months, of Arkansas City, Kan., son of Jeff and Dawn Shannon, passed away Friday afternoon, September 29, 2017, at Wesley Pediatric Unit in Wichita.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Bible Baptist Church in Arkansas City. Private family inurnment will take place prior to the service at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery in Winfield. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the Tucker Shannon Memorial Fund has been established at Ark Valley Credit Union. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
Tucker was born on February 13, 2017 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. He loved to be held and cuddled and let himself be heard when he was put down. He was diagnosed with Lesch Nyhan Syndrome.

Tucker was preceded in death by his great grandparents, KennaLee Cole, Roy Barger, Dorothy Shannon, Jacob Doyle Shannon, Sue Blizard, Marilyn Leitch and Jack Leitch.
