Hit and Run vehicle accident in the 22000 block of US 77. A gray 2004, Chevrolet passenger vehicle, driven by 85 year-old Ralph Murrell of Winfield, was traveling south bound in the 22000 block of US 77. A commercial truck was stopped at the railroad trucks and another vehicle, behind the truck swerved into Murrell’s lane, causing Murrell to hit the back of the other vehicle. The suspect vehicle is described as a white or light colored Sports Utility Vehicle and should have damage to the rear end.

Deputy assisted Winfield Police in the 900 blk of E 12th. Arrested on warrants were Tyrel Marler and Tanya Winters.
Deputy assisted Winfield Police in searching for subject at the Winfield City Lake. Subject was located and taken to William Newton Hospital.
Burglary alarm in the 21000 blk Curtis Ave. Made contact with subject residing at residence.
Deputy made a traffic stop near the 800 blk W 33rd Ave Winfield. Driver, Terrence Royals was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, expired license and no insurance. More marijuana was located after entering the jail and trafficking contraband was added to his charges. A warrant for FTA out of Ark City District Court was also located for Royals.
