Car versus deer motor vehicle accident in the 25000 block of 31st Road
Motor vehicle accident in the 20000 block of US 77. An orange 2011, Dodge van, driven by 72 year old Emporia resident, Bryant Thornton was traveling south on US 77 and struck a white 1997, Nissan truck driven by 17 year-old Amanda Olivas of Arkansas City. Olivas turned in front of Thornton, attempting to turn onto 71st Road and failed to yield the right of way to Mr. Thornton.

Deputies responded to the 32000 block of 61st Rd for a 911 hang up that turned into a trespassing issue.
Deputies responded to the 23000 block of 22nd Rd for a 911 hang up. Deputies were unable to locate anyone and determined the call was hitting off the cell tower in the area.
Building check in the 9000 block of 322nd Rd. Building was secured.

Deputies responded to the 31000 block of 53rd Rd for a report of suspicious activity. A stolen truck out of Wichita was located and recovered. Stony Graham was arrested on an Ark City Municipal warrant for failure to appear. Bret Still was arrested for no ignition interlock device. Kyle Oestmann was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and interference with law enforcement.
