A Winfield man is continuing to recover from injuries he sustained early Sunday morning in a single-vehicle accident in rural Cowley County.
31-year-old Adam K. Andes was taken to Wesley Medical Center for treatment of those injuries. He was listed in fair condition Tuesday, according to a hospital spokesperson.
Around 6 a.m. the day of the accident, Andes was southbound in the 17000 block of 151st Rd., also known as Cowley 1, when he crossed to the northbound lane. His truck went onto the bridge rail, then over the rail and rolled onto its top.
Andes removed himself from the vehicle and made it to a nearby residence. Emergency crews were then contacted.
Andes was the only occupant of the vehicle. The Cowley County Sheriff’s Dept. investigated the accident.
