Dwight Parker, 74, of Oxford, Kan., died Saturday, December 23, 2017, at his home.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, December 28, 2017, at the Shelley Family Funeral Home in Arkansas City, KS. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 9:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 at Shelley Family Funeral Home of Arkansas City, KS.
A memorial has been established with A.L.S. Society and the Hackney Community Baptist Church. Contributions can be left with the funeral home. There will also be a memorial service where Dwight grew up in Missouri on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Ricker Memorial Church of the Nazarene, 33286 Hwy 133, Meta, MO 65058, prior to a private interment.
